Shannachie is an ancient Gaelic word for “storyteller. “ Since 1995, Pat Heffernan (on guitar, vocals, and songwriting) and Patrick Keane (on bass, vocals, and “crowd rousing”) have been entertaining people with Irish pub songs, jokes and rousing audience participation. Shannachie has performed all over New England from Newport, RI to the ski slopes of New Hampshire and everywhere in between.
