Club Finz

This month we’ll be meeting at Paddy’s American Grille in the Pease International Tradeport, Portsmouth, NH.  Join us for cocktails and drink specials.

Club Finz once again turns a would be winter wonderland into a tropical oasis. Marching down Islington under the shade of palm fawns and accompanied by a flock of flamingos, Club Finz shows the inhabitants of Portsmouth New Hampshire a hope for tropical dreams amid the flying flakes of winter.

Join us as we once again “show our stuff” at the annual Portsmouth Holiday Parade. We’ll meet at 3:30pm to set up our float and the Parade steps off at 6pm. A very ‘keet friendly event.

Sock, Hat & Mitten Drive

Hello Everyone, waited till now to send out the total because…
We received Three more donations this week to add to the total (I am bring these items to the Dover Teen Center. They were unable to make it Friday)

Thank YOU For a successful Sock, Hat and Mitten Drive.

We had a grand total of :

1,682 items WOW!
So in 11 years that’s 18,390 items.

Families First Health and Support Center already called me to Thank Club Finz. She said a batch of SHM went out on the homeless van this week.

Thank You for Gathering SHM.
Thank You Volunteering your Time at the Event.
Thank You for the Basket Donations.

There were 29 Baskets that raised 429 dollars
The 50/50 raised 70 dollars and the winner donate back the 70 dollars
Also there was a donation of 70 dollars ….
So Four of our Charities went home with a monetary donation(WOW!)

The Club honored Three Ladies ( Lucille Matthews, Chris Dean and Betty Randlett) That night who knitted a total of 301 items. Our Knitting Queens
(Side note any yarn no matter the amount left these ladies will gladly accept If you have any extra yarn let Ann Mary Paccia or Diana Minutelli know . Thanks)

The Club had other Clubs flock to help us with this cause.

This is my fifth year being a part of the planning of this event. I always feel so proud of OUR CLUB when I contact these charities. I like seeing the charities’ representative faces when they leave with this Santa Bag of goodies. Thank You, it amazes me how it all comes together.
